Information for Artists
Once again, the money raised from the 2027 show will go to support our partner charity, the Yorkshire Children’s Charity. By supporting a Yorkshire-based charity we know that every penny raised will be spent locally.
Yorkshire Children’s Charity say…
“Our mission is to make things better for children and young people living at a disadvantage, now and for their future. The impact of our work is happier, healthier, and more independent children and young people, who are empowered to meet their unique potential and have the most fulfilling future possible.”
Reasons to exhibit:
- A great opportunity to show your work to a large audience of dedicated art buyers
- Gain exposure from our marketing, media and press
- Commission on sales is 35% with all of the money raised going to the Yorkshire Children’s Charity
- Artists make 65% of the sales price
- Price range £40-£5000
- 6 original artworks per artist will be hung or displayed
- Artists can also offer mounted originals in their own print rack, to be displayed next to their hung work

How it works
1.Selection
To register your interest in taking part in the Big Art Show please send images of your work, or a link to your website, to:
If approved by the selection committee, you will be given a unique exhibitor code and invited to register online via the website.
2. Online Registration (only if approved)

Registration costs £30, which is non-refundable.
3. Submit Titles and Prices
You will be sent a link to submit your titles and prices. Deadline for submission: DATE TBC
Terms and Conditions
The exhibition shows a curated mix of affordable, contemporary, original art. We accepted submissions in the following media:
- Oils
- Watercolours
- Mixed Media
- Original Prints
- Limited Edition Prints (excludes giclee prints)
- Drawings
- Sculpture
- Ceramics
- Photography
Maximum 6 hung or ‘displayed’ pieces and 20 browser pieces per artist.
Maximum size for framed and cord strung works is 100cm x 100cm (unless by prior agreement).
NO GICLEE PRINTS ACCEPTED
Mystery Postcards
Mystery postcards are postcard sized original paintings and photographs that are very generously donated by artists and sold for £40 each. Artist’s names must only be written on the back of each postcard so that they can be sold anonymously and the artist’s identity is only revealed to the buyer after purchase. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of mystery postcards go to Yorkshire Children’s Charity.
If you are exhibiting and would be prepared to kindly donate up to a maximum of 5 mystery postcard please indicate this on the Artist’s Registration form.
